Singapore Dance Theatre opens the 2015 performance season by reawakening the magic of the world’s favourite fairytale, Sleeping Beauty. Be enchanted as the magical kingdom of castles, fairies and forests come alive to present a visual spectacle of beauty and dance.
Set to a rich score by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, this latest staging by Artistic Director Janek Schergen features choreography by Marius Petipa, and more than 150 stunning costumes designed by Tracy Grant Lord. In all its splendour and grandeur, this full-length classical ballet is the perfect spellbinding treat for all ages!
