Joined SDT as a full time member in January 2010, Alison was born in Gibraltar and started dancing at the age of four. She moved to Singapore when she was 6 and commenced training at The Singapore Ballet Academy. While she was with the academy she had the opportunity to perform in productions including Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker with SDT.

In 2005, she was chosen to perform in Anthony Dowell's Swan Lake with the Royal Ballet School in Singapore . In 2007, she received the National Arts Council – Shell Scholarship to study at the New Zealand School of Dance. Since joining the school, Alison has performed in Natalie Weirs' Jabula and had the opportunity of working with guest teachers such as Matz Skoog, Christopher Hampson, Anna-Marie Holmes, Sherrilyn Kennedy, Stuart Cassidy and Janek Schergen. She danced in Pas De Quarte as her graduation piece.
