Started dancing at Takahashi Hiromi Ballet studio, Iori won the scholarship at the Asian Pacific International Ballet competition to train at the Australian Ballet School. While she was at The Australian Ballet, she performed with The Australian Ballet’s company in Les Sylphide, Graduation Ball, Leigh Rewel’s The Nutcracker – “The Gift of a Dream” and Tim Harbour’s Songs of Light. She also performed the lead role in George Balanchine’s Divertissement No. 15 and Don Quixote Act III Pas de Deux. Upon graduation in 2009, she joined the company in March 2010 as an apprentice.
