Sinasi Alak

 

Began his training in ballet at the age of 12 at Beijing Ballet Academy, China. Whilst studying, performed in contemporary dances and classic ballets including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Raymonda, Pas de Deux in Blue Bird, Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle and La Fille Mal Gardee. Received an annual scholarship for being Outstanding Dancer and won a Dance Prize for Excellence at the 21st World University Sports Meet. Became a member of the Tianjing Ballet Company in China for a year before joining SDT in July 2004. Performed in Lambarena, Living Greens, Jean-Paul Comelin's The Sleeping Beauty, Paul DeMasson and Jeffrey Tan's The Little Mermaid. He also performed in Marie-Claude Pietragalla's Rite of Spring at the Singapore Arts Festival 2005 and more recently in Jeffrey Tan's The Nutcracker.
