Born in Vitória, Brazil, Erivan started to dance at 7 years old with a scholarship at Espaço da Dança Escola de Ballet. Under the training of Liliani Cunha and Nerdin Montenegro, Erivan participated in various national and international ballet competitions as the International Festival of Joinville/Brazil, Youth American Grand Prix and Prix de Lausanne. Through those competitions, he was awarded a lot of prizes including Best Ballet Dancer Award.

During his time at Espaço da Dança, he performed twelve times at the end of year presentation, including the principle role of The Nutcracker in 2015. Later in 2017, Erivan was accepted to join the Post-Secondary Program with a scholarship at Canada’s National Ballet School.

Under the directorship of Mavis Staines, Erivan improved his dance technique and had the opportunity to choreograph his own piece. During the program, he performed in James Kudelka’s SCHOOL and the Pas de Six from August Bournonville’s A Folk Tale and later, Erivan was named a co-recipient of Peter Dwyer Award of Canada’s National Ballet School.

Erivan joined Singapore Dance Theatre as an Apprentice in January 2019.
