Satoru started ballet at Cygnus Ballet Studio when he was 8 years old. After he started ballet, he also acted in theatre play for 4 years. While he was in Japan, he performed in many competitions. He received full scholarship from The Australian Ballet School at YAGP Japan semifinal 2014.

He joined The Australian Ballet School from 2014 to 2016. During his time at The Australian Ballet School, he started under Simon Dow, Dale Baker and Janet Karin. Many of the performances that he was part of, they were choreographed by Australian choreographers Stephen Baynes, Simon Dow and Margaret Wilson. He had experienced two productions with The Australian Ballet as a professional dancer. Besides classical ballet, he is also trained in contemporary dance and Spanish dance. He was nominated for The Areti Boyaci Award for Excellence in Spanish Dance in 2015. He graduated from The Australian Ballet School in 2016.

Satoru joined Singapore Dance Theatre as an apprentice in January 2017, and was promoted to Artist in January 2018.
