A LA SYLPHIDE SPECIAL – BOURNONVILLE STYLE

To celebrate Singapore 's premiere staging of the landmark ballet La Sylphide, Singapore Dance Theatre, in collaboration with The Esplanade, is pleased to present A La Sylphide Special-Bournonville Style. As part of the Dance Appreciation Series, this outreach performance will delight one and all with a study into the signature traits of a Bournonville Ballet and sneak previews of La Sylphide.

Etudes
Step into a ballet class set in a choreographic mood and be inducted into the basic techniques of ballet. Delve into the differences of classical ballet class that infuses with the Bournonville style of dancing.
Tickets are priced at $10 SISTIC fee at $1 per ticket
Schools are able to use the TOTE Board Arts Grant subsidy of up to 60% of ticket price (capped at $20 per ticket)
