1) How do I get to your premises?

By Foot

  • Nearest MRT is Dhoby Ghaut
  • Walk towards Park Mall, take the lift and exit at the 4th storey carpark
  • You will then see a traffic light and when across, an upwards slope to your left (do not turn right towards The Legends)
    Walk up the slope until you come to a flight of stairs going upwards
  • Go up to the top of the stairs and walk towards Battle Box
  • Walk up the path and you will come to Fort Canning Centre
  • Our studios are on the second level and can be accessed by the stairs to the left of the building

By Car

  • Drive out from Stamford Road, turn left after Singapore History Museum into Canning Walk
  • Park at Carpark B

As the main door is locked by 6pm , please use the side staircase (as indicated on the map) for the entrance and exit to the dance studios. Kindly change into your dance attire before your course starts.

3) What exactly is Ballet?

  • A classical dance form demanding highly developed technique
  • Ballet is best known for its virtuoso techniques such as multiple pirouttes and grand allegro, grand pas de deux, and high leg extensions
  • Ballet aims to improve posture, flexibility and grace through barre and centre work

4) What exactly is Jazz Ballet?

  • A form of modern jazz with classical ballet foundations
  • A lively form of dance which incorporated jazz movement
  • Danced to jazz or upbeat pop music

5) Am I too old to start learning ballet?

  • Definitely not! Especially if you are physically able to and willing to try
  • Our classes cater to adults and working professionals with an age range of students from 20s to 40s

6) What attire should I come in?

  • Preferably in leotard and tights (for ballet)
  • Anything you are comfortable in and can stretch in e.g. track pants and a tank top (for Pilates, Jazz ballet, Contemporary Dancel)
  • Please wear ballet shoes for Ballet and Jazz Ballet classes.
