An Introduction To Mime

Initiated in 2006 as a platform to engage with audiences through an informative and interactive programme structure, the “Dance Appreciation Series” is a collaboration between the Singapore Dance Theatre and The Esplanade to enhance the understanding of dance among new audiences.
As part of the Dance Appreciation Series, this outreach performance will delight you with a look at the fundamentals of classical ballet.

Tickets are priced at $10 (SISTIC fee at $1 per ticket)
Schools are able to use the TOTE Board Arts Grant subsidy of up to 60% of ticket price (capped at $20 per ticket) Teachers are also entitled to one complimentary ticket for every group booking of 20 students.

A School Special
SDT has put together a resource kit for the Dance Appreciation Series which will provide your students with a more in-depth understanding of why people dance and enhance the learning experience for all. Teachers bringing in groups of students of 20 and above will be entitled to the resource kit. You would just need to drop an email to Ivy at classes@singaporedancetheatre.coms to get the resource kit once you have booked the tickets.
A SISTIC booking fee applies for all tickets.
Latecomers will only be admitted during suitable breaks/intermission. No admission for infants in arms and children below 6 years old.
Tickets are required for all patrons.
