Passages is SDT’s annual contemporary season, featuring inspiring new works by both local and international choreographers as well as short works by budding young choreographers. In its 4th year, Passages will feature a work by Canadian-Chinese Choreographer Kinsun Chan who has an established reputation in North America, Europe and in Hong Kong. Passages will also feature a work by local choreographer Christina Chan, full-time artist at Frontier Danceland and winner of SPROUTS Choreographic Competition 2011.

 

Prior to the main performance, there will also be a workshop for young talents, in which selected budding young choreographers will get the much awaited opportunity to undergo a 2 week choreographic workshop under the tutelage of Artistic Director Janek Schergen, and set their works on SDT dancers. They will then showcase their works at Passages.
