PETER & BLUE’S BIRTHDAY PARTY

8 – 11 June 2017 Esplanade Theatre Studio

In 2010, Artistic Director Janek Schergen choreographed a three-part ballet series, Peter & Blue, as a performance solely dedicated to family with young children. It is an hour-long ballet specially created for the wee ones, and this year’s Peter & Blue’s Birthday Party will be personally narrated by Schergen, himself.

 

 

MASTERPIECE IN MOTION

7 – 8 July 2017, Esplanade Theatre

Masterpiece in Motion speaks for itself – featuring classic jewel pieces that stands the course of time in SDT’s repertoire list. This season presents the most compelling and exquisite works by renowned international choreographers.

 

 

BALLET UNDER THE STARS

2017 marks the 22nd edition of the Singapore’s most celebrated outdoor dance event, Ballet Under the Stars. PASSAGES Contemporary Season

3 – 5 November 2017, Esplanade Theatre Studio

Passages is the company’s annual full contemporary performance season. Watch the human body come into full expression as the dancers confront works that grapple with the gratification and realisation of the raw state within oneself.
