Immerse yourself in the perfect evening at Singapore Dance Theatre’s (SDT) 20th edition of the annual Ballet Under the Stars! Expect spectacular medley of works including Double Contrasts by Choo-San Goh, Rubies by George Balanchine, and Lambarena by Val Caniparoli on the first weekend of contemporary ballets; and Concerto Baroccoand Serenade by George Balanchine, as well as Schubert Symphony by Choo-San Goh, for the second weekend of a fusion of classical and contemporary pieces.



Peter and Blue’s birthday party

Peter and Blue’s Birthday Party, is an hour-long children’s ballet production which brings together the magic of fairy-tale and meaningful morals. Returning after the successful premiere in 2010, this performance will see the return of your favourite and familiar characters



Masterpiece in Motion

21 - 22 august, esplanade theatre

Masterpiece in Motion is SDT’s international repertory season featuring an annual triple-bill with three ballets of international standards, bringing the finest examples of choreography to audiences back home. This incredible season will see the world premiere of Midnight Waltzes by François Klaus, and the company premiere of Bournonville Divertissements by August Bournonville; as well as Opus 25, which was choreographed by Edwaard Liang for SDT's 25th Anniversary.




30 october - 1 november, goodman arts centre

A 3-day only showcase, Singapore Dance Theatre will present a medley of contemporary dance works. Featuring three new creations by local choreographers Max Chen and Gigi Gianti, and Swiss-Canadian choreographer Kinsun Chan, as well as the ever-compelling contemporary piece, 4Seasons, by Natalie Weir.

An enthralling revival of the world's most beloved ballet, Swan Lake will bring the year to a spectacular finale as SDT rekindles this famous classical masterpiece. A ballet for all ages, Swan Lake tells the story of undying love, a cruel twist of fate, and the promise of devotion.
